Very unprofessional and racist. The woman claimed that my employer was evading taxes and that I was receiving untaxed money, which is of course untrue and irrelevant. I explained that I could transfer the deposit and rent as usual via bank transfer, but she thinks I don't have the money, even though I sent her my bank statement. In the end, the apartment was rented out to someone else that same day, and we Asians are just supposedly poor. Edit: I think I wrote that I would, of course, pay the rent via bank transfer/standing lease. WHEN DID I MENTION THAT I WOULD PAY THE RENT IN CASH?
